The Pensions Trust has been awarded the prestigious Investors in People (IIP) standard. This demonstrates the achievements of the Trust's workforce and its commitment to its employers, customers and partners.
To gain IIP status, The Pensions Trust was assessed on 12 separate areas of the organisation. This was conducted by an external assessor who also spoke to a broad selection of employees from across all sites and at all levels. The areas assessed included commitment, equal opportunities, business planning and communications. The Pensions Trust met all 12 indicators, with some excellent examples of good practice.
Richard Stroud, Chief Executive of The Pensions Trust said: "We are delighted that we are now Investors in People. At The Pensions Trust we recognise that our staff are our most valuable resource and only by investing in them can we hope to continue as a successful and happy organisation."
